Dragon Age: Origins
Platform: XBOX360
Publishers: Electronic Arts
Genre:RPG
This game is going to be fantastic. The character customization, moral decision making, and the party-based combat make this game the bar-setter for future RPGs. Ever since Fable 2 was released, I couldn’t find a game to satisfy my craving for a top notch RPG. Like Fable 2, the decisions you make in Dragon Age: Origins in your youth shape how you view the world, and how it views you. Most RPG games tend to be morally biased, usually killing someone is bad, and saving someone is good. But what if the person you saved ends up killing hundreds? Unlike other RPGs, Dragon Age: Origins doesn’t want to make you make good or bad decision, but would rather have you make decisions that are appropriate for the situation you’re currently in.
There is also an approval rating systems, based on how much a character views you, you could find new side quests. How you end up completing those side quests could gain you new abilities or increase ones you already have. If you complete a side quest and the character who game it to you doesn’t like your work, you can lose the ability, but you could always gain their trust back.
Overall this game looks fantastic, and I look forward to playing it Nov 3rd when it comes out. I will post an update and have more images and videos of the game.
