It is popular to say that Family Guy is just random scenes that anyone could think up. And it is a lot of random scenes. But its ridiculous to say that’s all it is and that anyone could make it up.

Case point – Chris getting sucked into the Aha Video inside the supermarket. Every so often we all think of random funny situations but Family Guy has a LOT of these. Random is funny, they mastered random is funny. Not just anyone could accidently make Family Guy by putting together random occurances

I think I'm too ADD for The Simpsons.

Besides, it bothers me how they are all yellow, I don't get that.

family guy didn't master it. family guy is funny but its not clever or witty, its just random scenes that anyone could think up. the simpsons is the only one with well thought out plots that tie together with humor and wit.
